- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.
- Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and mustard. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions; drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the meat mixture with cooked macaroni and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
