Ingredients

			- 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the apples with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, butter, and salt.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
- Layer the apple mixture on top.
- Crumble the remaining oat mixture on top of the apples.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
