Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the apples with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, butter, and salt.
  4. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  5. Layer the apple mixture on top.
  6. Crumble the remaining oat mixture on top of the apples.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing and serving.
