- 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon.
- Combine oats, flour, and butter until crumbly.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
- Spread the apple mixture over the crust, then top with the remaining oat mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the apples.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
