- 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Toss to coat.
- In another bowl, mix flour, oats, and melted butter until crumbly. Reserve some for topping.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan to form the crust.
- Layer the apple mixture over the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the apples and crust.
- Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool before releasing the springform pan.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream for an extra treat.
- Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
