- 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In another bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream; beat until fully blended.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and layer the apple mixture on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
- Let cool before removing from the springform pan and serve.
Notes
- For best results, use tart apples.
- Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top before serving for extra indulgence.
