Instructions

  3. Add butter and vanilla extract, mixing until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into a baking pan to form a crust.
  5. In another bowl, toss apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice, then spread over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mixture on top of the apples.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.
