- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup apple pie filling
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until fully combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, followed by the apple pie filling. Spread the remaining batter on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For an extra touch, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top before baking.
- Serve warm with ice cream for a delicious dessert.
