- 1 pound applewood smoked turkey
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 whole grain sandwich rolls
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons whiskey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, whiskey, and Dijon mustard; heat over low until warmed.
- Butter the outer sides of the sandwich rolls.
- Layer the turkey and cheese inside the rolls.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, drizzle with the cranberry whiskey glaze, and serve warm.

- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs to the glaze.
