Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer slices of avocado, mozzarella, and tomato.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some sliced jalapeños.
