- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, crumbled turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Take a piece of mozzarella stick and wrap it with an appropriate amount of the turkey mixture, ensuring it is fully enclosed.
- Dip the wrapped mozzarella stick in beaten eggs and then roll it in breadcrumbs.
- Place the mozzarella stick bombs on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the turkey mixture.
- Make sure to fully encase the mozzarella sticks to prevent cheese from leaking out while baking.
