- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together almond milk, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before removing from the pan.
Notes
- For a sweeter donut, add more sugar to taste.
- You can substitute coconut milk for almond milk if desired.
