Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together almond milk, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before removing from the pan.

Notes

  • For a sweeter donut, add more sugar to taste.
  • You can substitute coconut milk for almond milk if desired.
