  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, soak the chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 2 hours.
  3. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Remove the chicken from buttermilk, dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 35-45 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and crispy.
