- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill a greased donut hole pan with the batter, about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before removing from the pan.
Notes
- For added sweetness, dust the donut holes with powdered sugar after baking.
- Make sure not to overmix the batter to keep the texture light and fluffy.
