Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add the softened butter and sugar, mixing well.
- Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the baking soda, salt, and flour. Gradually add to the banana mixture.
- If using, fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

- For a sweeter cake, consider adding chocolate chips or more sugar.
