Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 additional banana, sliced, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the mashed bananas until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until incorporated.
  7. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, top with sliced bananas.
