- 1 package graham cracker crumbs
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 additional banana, sliced, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Stir in the mashed bananas until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until incorporated.
- Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, top with sliced bananas.
Notes
- For an extra layer of flavor, you can add a layer of chocolate ganache on top of the cheesecake.
- Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother texture.
