- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape.
- Spread the BBQ chicken mixture in the center of the dough.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses on top of the chicken.
- Fold the sides of the dough over the filling and seal well.
- Place the stromboli on a baking sheet and brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the filling.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
