- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion until cooked through.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Pour half of the beef mixture over the potatoes, then half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and cheese.
- Pour the beef broth evenly over the top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes.

- For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- You can use any type of cheese you prefer.
