- 2 cups fresh or frozen peas
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain and crumble.
- In a large bowl, combine peas, chicken ham, crumbled bacon, mayonnaise, sour cream, and lemon juice.
- Add chopped red onion and shredded cheese, mixing well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute yogurt for mayonnaise.
- Feel free to add other vegetables such as bell peppers or celery for extra crunch.
