- 6 croissants
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch salt
- powdered sugar for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cut the croissants into pieces and layer half in a greased baking dish.
- Spread half of the blueberries over the croissants. Repeat the layers.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissants and blueberries.
- Let it soak for about 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator overnight.
- Serve with maple syrup or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
