Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Season the prime rib roast with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.

- Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue to roast until a meat thermometer reads 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before slicing.
