  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 sub rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, BBQ sauce, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake meatballs for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, heat additional BBQ sauce in a saucepan.
  6. Once meatballs are done, toss them in the heated BBQ sauce.
  7. Slice sub rolls and add meatballs. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Return subs to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
