Ingredients

- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded brisket
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 4 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the shredded brisket with bourbon and maple syrup.
- Heat a waffle iron.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and sprinkle garlic powder on the buttered side.
- Assemble the wafflewich with cheese and brisket mixture between the bread slices.
- Cook in the waffle iron until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sliced jalapeños to the brisket mixture.
- Can substitute cheddar with your preferred cheese.
