- 8 ounces pasta
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, garlic, basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta to the bowl and toss to coat.
- Add the crumbled turkey bacon and mix gently.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional basil if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add mozzarella cheese on top before serving.
- This dish can be served cold as a pasta salad as well.
