Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the pecans.
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- For a nuttier flavor, roast the pecans before adding them to the dough.
- Adjust the sugar according to your sweetness preference.
