- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup sugar

- 1 unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the buttermilk, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the pie is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a squeeze of lemon juice to the filling.
