Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, remaining sugar, and salt.
  4. Stir in melted butter and milk until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Add the peach mixture on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
