- 4 cups sliced peaches
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, remaining sugar, and salt.
- Stir in melted butter and milk until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Add the peach mixture on top of the batter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.

- For an extra touch, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
