- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the vanilla and baking powder.
- Gradually add the flour until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and half of the caramel sauce.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top of the cookies.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the dough.
- These cookies are best served warm with extra caramel drizzled on top.
