Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in the vanilla and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the flour until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and half of the caramel sauce.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top of the cookies.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the dough.
  • These cookies are best served warm with extra caramel drizzled on top.
