- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (28 oz) frozen French fries
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; cook until onions are soft.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and half of the cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Spread the frozen French fries in a baking dish and pour the beef mixture over them.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the fries are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add other toppings like bacon or chopped tomatoes for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
