  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Add cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture over it, then top with the remaining brownie batter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For an extra chocolatey flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
