- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add 2 eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, then stir in the dry ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add 1 egg and vanilla.
- Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Top with the cheesecake mixture, then layer the remaining brownie batter over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can swirl in chocolate chips or nuts in the brownie layer.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top for an extra indulgent treat.
