- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a baking dish, place the chicken breasts and drizzle with olive oil.
- Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Top the chicken with sliced bell peppers.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before baking.
- Serve with a side of rice or crusty bread.
