- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)
- oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add taco seasoning and any additional water required. Cook according to package instructions.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper.
- Fold and seal the egg roll, using the beaten egg to help secure the edges.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add diced jalapeños to the filling.
- Serve with salsa or guacamole for dipping.
