- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil and add rice and broccoli. Cook until rice is tender.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice and broccoli with cheese, turkey bacon, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked onions or bell peppers to the mixture.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
