- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic and mushrooms until softened.
- In a bowl, combine sautéed mushrooms, cream cheese, and mozzarella.
- Slice a pocket in each chicken breast and fill with the mushroom mixture.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken breasts with herbs a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or a fresh salad.
