- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- optional toppings (sour cream, salsa)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned and drain excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water, stir, and let simmer.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and some shredded cheese on each rectangle.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with optional toppings.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- These can also be made ahead of time and frozen.
