Ingredients

- 2 cups cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/2 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
- Fold in the mascarpone cheese until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for a few seconds, then layer them in a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Add half of the cherries on top of the cream.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.
Notes
- For an added twist, consider using a layer of chocolate ganache.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the cream based on your taste.
