- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, turkey bacon, rice, chicken broth, soup, vegetables, and seasonings.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until you're ready to bake it.
- For a creamier texture, add a bit more cream of mushroom soup.
