Instructions
- Prepare the steak by tenderizing it gently.
- Set up a breading station with flour, egg mixed with buttermilk, and seasoned flour.
- Dredge each steak in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat with seasoned flour.
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry the steaks until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the steaks and make the gravy in the same skillet using butter and flour to create a roux, then slowly whisk in milk.
- Simmer the gravy until thick, then season it with salt and pepper.
- Serve the fried steak topped with gravy.
