Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add chopped basil and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the basil cream sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half.
- Make sure to use fresh basil for the best flavor.
