- 4 medium zucchini
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides.
- In a skillet, cook the ground chicken with garlic until browned.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
- Fill the zucchini halves with the chicken mixture.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the zucchini is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped fresh basil on top before serving.
- These can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
