Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and carrots, and cook until softened.
- Add diced chicken breast and cook until no longer pink.
- Stir in flour, then gradually add chicken broth and milk. Bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta and cook according to package instructions.
- Add peas, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for a few more minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding garlic.
- Thicken the sauce more by adding additional flour.
