- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1/3 cup onion, diced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
- Add onion and mixed vegetables and sauté until tender.
- Stir in flour, then gradually add chicken broth, stirring until thickened.
- Add chicken, thyme, garlic powder, and black pepper, then mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a pie crust and cover with another crust. Seal edges.
- Make slits on top of the crust and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you may add rosemary or sage to the filling.
