- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak into thin strips.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch, and half the black pepper. Add the steak and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry until browned.
- Add bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice.

- For added flavor, let the steak marinate for a few hours.
- Use a mix of bell peppers for a colorful presentation.
