  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch, and half the black pepper. Add the steak and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry until browned.
  4. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot over rice.
