  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; mix well until smooth.
  4. Stir in the boiling water until fully blended.
  5. Pour the batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Once cooled, layer the cake with caramel sauce and sprinkle toffee bits in between layers.
  7. Frost the cake with remaining caramel sauce and top with additional toffee bits.

Notes

  • Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
  • For added crunch, you can sprinkle extra toffee bits on top.
