- 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter; press mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Blend in sour cream and melted chocolate chips until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for about 55 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let it cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
- Serve chilled, topped with chocolate shavings or whipped cream if desired.
