- 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set. Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger mint flavor, increase the peppermint extract slightly.
- Try adding crushed peppermint candies for added texture and flavor.
