Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for mousse

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. While brownies are baking, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  6. Once brownies are cooled, spread the mousse evenly over the top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
