- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, followed by the eggs, one at a time.
- Add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour into a greased 9-inch round pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
