  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  8. For the frosting, beat peanut butter and powdered sugar in a bowl until creamy.
  9. Add vanilla extract and heavy cream, and beat until fluffy.
  10. Once the cakes are cooled, spread frosting between layers and on top of the cake.
