Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups pistachios, shelled
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend the pistachios until finely ground.
  3. In a bowl, combine the ground pistachios, melted butter, sugar, and salt.
  4. Press the mixture into a tart pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. While the crust cools, heat the cream in a saucepan until just simmering.
  6. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for a few minutes.
  7. Add the vanilla extract and stir until smooth and glossy.
  8. Pour the ganache into the cooled tart shell and refrigerate until set.
