- 1 1/2 cups pistachios, shelled
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a food processor, blend the pistachios until finely ground.
- In a bowl, combine the ground pistachios, melted butter, sugar, and salt.
- Press the mixture into a tart pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- While the crust cools, heat the cream in a saucepan until just simmering.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for a few minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract and stir until smooth and glossy.
- Pour the ganache into the cooled tart shell and refrigerate until set.
Notes
- For a nut-free version, use a cookie crust.
- Experiment with different types of chocolate for ganache.
